Fernando Perez III has been practicing in Florida for 35 years, and practices primarily in matters involving immigration law and business transactions related to immigration matters.
Mr. Perez received his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and his Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center.

He is frequently consulted by members of the United States Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, and by Members of Congress on matters of new legislation, and is an advanced level presenter at international conferences of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Florida Bar.
Mr. Perez has served as a Special Envoy of the Governor of the State of Florida and the Florida cities of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Largo, and Clearwater in matters of international affairs. Mr. Perez is a past member of the National Board of Governors of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and past President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Central Florida Chapter. Prior to serving as President and member of the National Board of Governors, Mr. Perez served as liaison between the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Immigration and Naturalization Service (now known as the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services) and the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
Mr. Perez is a former Assistant State Attorney. He has served as a Director of the Downtown Tampa YMCA, the Hispanic Business Institute, and the British-American Chamber of Commerce. He was also a founding member of the Hillsborough County Bar's Farm Worker Volunteer Program, a Big Brother, and a volunteer diver for The Florida Aquarium.
